CNB New Material Expands Pre-Painted (PPGI/PPGL) Steel Capacity & Stock for Faster Global Delivery

To meet the surging global demand for high-quality color coated steel products for construction, home appliance and industrial applications, CNB New Material has completed a major expansion of its pre-painted steel production capacity and daily ready stock, further strengthening its position as a leading one-stop coated steel supplier in China.

Following the production line upgrade, our PPGI/PPGL output capacity has increased by 25%, and daily ready stock has been raised to 20,000 metric tons, covering a full spectrum of specifications and paint systems:

Base material options: Galvanized (PPGI), galvalume (PPGL), aluminized and stainless steel substrates, with coating weights from GI Z40–Z275 and GL AZ30–AZ185.

Paint systems: Polyester (PE), Silicon Modified Polyester (SMP), High Durability Polyester (HDP) and Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF), sourced from premium global brands including Akzo Nobel, Nippon, Becker, PPG, KCC and Valspar.

Specifications: Thickness 0.1–2.0mm, width 900–1650mm, coil weight 3–6mt, coil ID 508/610mm. We are among the few suppliers capable of producing 2.0mm thick and 1650mm wide pre-painted steel at scale.

Surface types: Single color, pattern, embossed, suede, grid, wrinkled, self-cleaning, anti-bacterial, anti-static, thermal insulated and food-grade finishes available.

At CNB New Material, we treat paint coating as the soul of color coated steel. Our standard paint film thickness is 5+10/5μm (primer + topcoat / backcoat), significantly thicker than the industry average of 8–10/3–4μm. For powder-sprayed color coated coils, total paint thickness can reach up to 300μm.

This thicker coating delivers longer weather resistance, better color retention and stronger adhesion — extending service life by 3–5 years compared to standard market products in the same environment.
