Cost‑Effective Intermediate Material
Full hard cold rolled steel is the product directly from the tandem mill without annealing. It has high strength (HRB 85+), low elongation, and a bright metallic surface. It is the input material of choice for ERW tube producers, roll‑formers who perform inline annealing, and continuous galvanizing lines. By purchasing full hard, you save the annealing cost and gain maximum strength for limited‑forming applications.
Properties & End‑Use
Hardness: Typically HRB 85‑95, depending on reduction ratio.
Applications: Small‑diameter welded tubes, open profiles, strapping, simple flat panels, base for downstream hot‑dip or electro‑galvanizing.
Edge Condition: Slit edges with minimal burr for high‑frequency welding.
Packing: Protected with rust‑preventive oil and standard seaworthy wrapping.
