This ZM275 DX51D grade is our most widely used general-purpose specification, adopting classic 2%Al-1.5%Mg alloy composition to deliver balanced corrosion resistance, formability and cost efficiency.
The Zn-Al-Mg coating forms a dense protective layer on the steel surface, and produces stable Zn₅(OH)₈Cl₂·H₂O gel-like corrosion products at cut edges and scratches, realizing a "self-healing" effect that prevents further corrosion penetration. This product is the optimal upgrade solution for traditional galvanized steel in construction scenarios.
