Product Overview
This is the uncoated (bare) galvanized steel coil – the foundational material used to produce Prepainted Galvanized Steel (PPGI). Produced by immersing cold-rolled steel into a molten zinc bath (continuous hot-dip process), the GI coil develops a robust zinc-iron alloy layer that provides excellent corrosion resistance even before painting. With a wide thickness range and multiple spangle options, this bare coil serves as the direct substrate for PPGI manufacturing, as well as a standalone material for galvanized corrugated sheets, gutters, and structural components where a painted finish is not required.
