Hot-Rolled Steel Coil (HRC) – SPHC / Q195 / SAE1006 Grade, 1.2-25.4mm Thick, for Pipe Making, Cold Rolling Substrate & General Structures
Product Overview
Hot-rolled steel coil is produced by heating slabs above recrystallization temperature (typically ~1200°C) and passing them through a series of roughing and finishing rolling stands under computer-controlled conditions. After rolling, the strip is cooled by laminar flow and coiled into finished coils. This process eliminates internal stresses and refines the grain structure, producing steel with excellent ductility and weldability. Our hot-rolled coils are widely used as feedstock for cold-rolling mills, welded pipe production, automotive frames, and general structural applications. We supply both commercial grade (SPHC/SAE1006) and high-strength grades (Q345B, S355JR) to match your project requirements.

Core Advantages
High Formability – SPHC and SAE1006 grades offer excellent elongation (≥30%) and ductility for bending, stamping, and cold forming.
Cost-Effective – Hot-rolling is more energy-efficient than cold-rolling, making these coils an economical choice for large-scale structural projects.
Weldability – Low carbon content ensures easy welding without pre-heating for most applications.
Versatile Applications – Serves as the starting material for cold-rolled coils, galvanized sheets, welded tubes, and structural steel sections.
Large Size Range – Thickness up to 25.4mm and width up to 2200mm covers most heavy fabrication needs.
Applications
Structural Steel: Building frames, bridge components, transmission towers, offshore platforms
Pipe & Tube Manufacturing: Spiral-welded and longitudinal-welded steel pipes
Cold Rolling Feedstock: Base material for cold-rolled coils (CR), galvanized steel (GI), and prepainted steel (PPGI)
Automotive: Chassis parts, wheel rims, truck frames
Heavy Equipment: Crane booms, excavator components, agricultural machinery
General Fabrication: Storage tanks, pressure vessels, industrial shelving
